Spurs Hungry like the Wolves?

Lets face it, if we fail to beat Wolves this week then there is something seriously wrong with Spurs and nevermind about gloating over top 5 position 2 seasons in a row and the odd CL glory results, the nuts and bolts will be that we are deluded. This should be a formality for a football club as big as THFC, CL every season, not quaking in our boots about top four position or getting a result at some northern flea pit.
The debarcle at Bloomfield road, like the other away day let downs was yet another non show of bite and quality. If the excuse is that we find it hard to hit the net because we are away from home then I would suggest the coach leave 4 days early for these fixtures to allow the team to climatise to the likes of Wigan,Bolton,Blackpool,Wolves etc etc
How many points this season have been dropped to lowly opposition?
Report says: 'Not good enough'
My message to Levy would be 'Forget the likes of over-weight C Adam,over-age V Bommel and the over-the-hill P Neville and get 2 top quality strikers brought in ASAP as 1 of ours has 2 left feet and the other needs a visit to specsavers.'
Andy Carrol will be the best English striker since Shearer, (ok..you heard it here first) anyone with a football eye can see that, great for England but not so great for Spurs.
Wolves sitting down the bottom of the prem/dinner table are hungry and Saturday is Dinner Time.

I feel the same. Harry has no excuses to lose this game. Moreover if we are challenging to qualify in the top 4.Playing away has nothing to do with losing a game. We have away games & this was achieved by everyone playing like trojans. Harry needs to rule by example here & tell the lads that their inconsistency will not be tolerated in the future.

Why should we be top 4?, we are up against two billonaires, Man U & Les Rouges, all of whom have loads more cash than us. Fingers crossed we do it again, but we cannot compete on transfers & wages against 5 other clubs.

Imagine if half the points dropped were added to our total, everyone would be chasing us!!!
I agree that we should of broke bank for A Carol, hes young and strong and if not for Spurs hopefully ends up like Shearer for England.

If you think we should win at Wolves then why did Utd lose there unbeaten run to the bottom team Wolves. The Answer is in the D and S word that has caused most of the shock football in a shock season. The D is desperate and the S is supplemented Tempo mostly used at half time and can be used for the full game depending on desperation and risking the supplement overdose and ilness. Chelsea proved they had both the Desperation and the Supplement and won the game with a bad ref and second half high desperate Tempo. This is why we have lost to teams on paper second best but on the field in shock mode. We can win but we need a good ref a lot of luck and the first and last goal to even get a point or win

you are the one deluded. Why should we think we can win at Wolves just by turning up? Its thinking like that that when the players do it results in perfomances like the one at Blackpool. It also shows wolves no respect at all. We have only finished 5th or better 3 times in teh premiership ever, all in recent seasons yet you for some reason think its all doom and gloom if we do it again. You need to get realistic and show proper respect to other teams. This game will not be easy at all and hopefully the players will realise this and not think like an idiot.

umm Ledley is in bed, shhhh youll wake him up.
Play Kranky up front with Crouch and VDV behind. Pav can be ballboy put him behind the goal, should get a lot of the ball ha ha

On WW site blog poll is 84% Wolves to beat Spurs. Interesting how confident the 'lowly' team can be of beating a 'top 4' team!??!

anon 11.31 Its got fook all to do with HR if the strikers cant hit a cows arse with a shovel, he picks these £M players that are avaliable and its Them that are accountable not HR. If anything I agree with article that more midfielders are not the priority but strikers but HR cant be blamed once the whistle goes its up to the selected to perform.(which unfortunately in the League they havent)

Andy Carrol to face Utd, lets see if youre right about "best striker since Shearer"
The problem this season has been injuries, before you go Oh that old chestnut, if players are injured they are out of the side, the side loses cohesion, and lacks consistency and I think its been proven that a consistent side wins leagues.
To achieve consistency you need the same team playing week in week out.

Losing to Wolves wouldn't matter if we had beaten Blackpool.

After all we've done it before.
But now its verging on a must win game especially after Chelsea beat Man.Utd.

I predict a lot of twists and turns in the next 11 games and am not getting too despondent just yet.
Just a little anxious.

Last 6 weeks spurs have had some up’s and downs if we had 2 or 3 strikers we be up in top 3 we should never loss at west ham , wigan win was one off and blackpool win was all down to bad luck and a dodgy pitch, as for wolves on Sunday it will be different ball game, o’hara can’t play and strange feeling spurs strikers will start to find some form defoe due some luck 4-1 to spurs
