Harry right, Villa are a great side....duh

So Redknapp was right all along when in his pre-match interview he said "Villa are a great side, this is going to be a tough game", so really, lets get this right, Spurs did well to get a 1-1 draw, silly me, I thought we had just missed the opportunity of a lifetime to secure 3rd spot in the league and Champions League football by not beating a side that were sitting 3rd from bottom in the table.
This defeatest attitude before every game from Harry Redknapp is getting very irritating now, he would probably say that its not being defeatest but him being modest because he wants to come over as a nice bloke but quite frankly its not only the players that need managing, so does he.
Redknapp needs to be man-managed in football management.
To not beat Villa, with respect, who havent had a decent result for over 5 months is little short of a disgrace for a team like Tottenham Hotspur, door wide open (thanks to Kyle Naughton!!) nice one Kyle, to leapfrog @rsenal van persie fc and a possible £30M +  Champions League.
Mr Levy seriously has to dig into the kitty in the summer, its so obvious that we need a decent 20 goal a season striker and a central defender at the very least if we are going to avoid this same debarcle next season.

Uh, no.

We dominated the second half (with 10 men) and they managed to hang on. It's not like we lacked effort and arguably with 11 men, we'd of found a way through. Is it Harry's fault that Rose lost his head?

The toughest of the two games for Arsenal is the West Brom one and that's this weekend. So let's not have a hissy fit just yet. If we beat Fulham at home the minimum we will get is 4th.

Focus on ourselves and put the Goons under pressure. Early goal would be interesting.

Crazy though it may sound, I'd rather be in our position than Arsenals going into next Sunday. Arsenal still need a win to guarantee 3rd and WBA will be no pushovers esp with the Hodgson factor. Coming back from 2 down away at Bolton to equalise in the last min shows they're not on the beach yet

We needed Defoe on to stick one of the 22 goal attempts in the net. What does Harry do? Brings on Parker to make sure we get the point! The man is clueless. Villa were hanging on even withthe extra man. Hes done this so many times now. Our top scorer on the bench. Unbelievable!

next season our back 4 will all be fit but yeah adebyor gets a few goals but hes over the hill We need a quality striker alongside defoe, VDV is NOT a striker
let adebyor go and spend big for a QUALITY striker ffs

Agree with you.We had nothing to lose by going all out and attack. Defoe should have been brought on. Even if we had lost we would still be above Newcastle and just need to win our last game. Same as our present situation. Rednapp should be subsituted.

Redknapp has got a 'strugglers mentality' hes ok if youre in the bottom 4, great manager, but cant hack top 4 where he bends over.

i understand how we all see things differently and we all think we are right but how some of us yids still like harry really is beyong me as in my eyes he has ruined the best season we could have ever had and he is getting worse every week with the nonsense that he keeps spurting!! he lets bale do what he wants, he plays modric left midfield, he plays vdv right midfield, he plays for a draw when only a win will do, he leaves adebarndoor on for 90 minutes most weeks when he should have subbed him 89 minutes before, he has never I REPEAT NEVER made a sub that has done us any good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in fact i stand correcet as he brought on parker yesterday to get us a point and it worked,,, soryy i'm wrong on that one!! he played gomes every week even though he was giving teams a 1 or 2 goal head start and that cost us champions league football last season, and i have lots more too but will someone please give me 1 yes only 1 good thing this old buffon has done with the best squad of players our great club has ever had apart from saying where did we finish in 1998 as that aint cutting it with me!! No-one can doubt the effort Spurs put in yesterday but it was all huff and puff with no finish, I cant understand why Defoe isnt being used correctly, he is Spurs top goal scorer and we needed goals?! Why is he sitting on the bench? Answers please HR you love the big/little striker like its from some childrens boy comic book, what the hell are you doing?

hey anon 11.07 you say focus on ourselves when its exactly what we havent done.
If we had focussed on ourselves we would be SECOND in the table now not sweating on Chelsea not winning C L and beating Fulham who HR thinks are another GREAT side.
We need central defenders and top quality striker, £50m striker if need be.COMMITMENT.

My Mum said THFC are crap do I?
(A) Ignore her, what does she know
(B) Leave home
(C) Support a big club,like Villa
(D) Say we've been unlucky this season what with the HR stuff, injuries,KO times, bad weather, sending offs etc etc

I manage a kids team U11 and have done for a few years now, we finnished mid-table but to be honest apart from 1 runaway side all the others were fairly equal in ability. I never once said to my team before a game what I've heard Redknapp coming out with.
Its obvious that every game will be a tough game because no team is going to roll over for you so theres absolutely no reason for Redknapp to say what he does pre-match.
A little arrogance in a manager is a good thing (wenger, mancini, ferguson) and it gets the best out of your players, I've seen it.Has HR lost the plot?
We still have a chance to qualify for CL but some of his decisions have been a bit baffling this season.

If there was ever a time to play the best team/line-up you have available to you then it was yesterday and in my opinion we didnt. Forget the sending off and the unavailable players, HR blew it. Not only that he is already saying what a 'great' side Fulham are. I bet Jol is laughing his bollox off.

We are all frustrated, hang in there theres 1 more game to go, then hopefully Mr Levy will sort it out.

Its not the managers fault if the players cant score against a team that every other club in the league has thrashed its the chairmans fault.

Get out Harry. No reason to stick with a a manager who doesn't understand Spurs. He deserves the sack anyway. His tactics are laughable (scott parker on sunday???WTF) his attitude stinks and Cannot keep a squad happy. He reminds me of a sunday league manager. Can't even read or write, how embarrassing for a multi-millionaire who is in charge of a big English football club. AND SPURS HAVE A SQUAD TO CHALLENGE. If only we had a manager to back them up. GET HIM OUT LEVY.
